Billions of dollars in development have happened in Detroit in recent years and more is on its way. With its vibrant nightlife, world-class museums, award-winning public spaces and unparalleled architecture, it's no wonder it was listed as one of Time Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places. Downtown Detroit is at the epicenter of it all and has over 200 bars & restaurants, dozens of shops & boutiques, 4 major sports teams, world-renowned architecture, the one of the largest theater districts in the country, and jaw dropping public art. All these assets make it an amazing place to live, work and play, but it also makes it difficult to learn all of the great spots and keep up with what’s new as things are changing all the time. See all the major landmarks, new developments and some of the great historical spots all from an insider’s perspective.
